Important information concerning travel to Indonesia

Check the current validity of your passport

In general, all travelers will need a passport valid for at least 6 months upon arrival in Indonesia. We strongly recommend travelers to verify the validity of passports prior to departure.

Confirm if you need a visa to enter Indonesia

According to the Indonesian immigration website.  Some nationals are eligible to enter and remain in Indonesia without a visa for 30 days for tourism purpose only. Please check if your nationality requires a visa by contacting your embassy or the Indonesian embassy in your country.

To view the 169 Official Countries Exempted from Visas for Visit to Indonesia, please visit the  Indonesian immigration website.

Make sure your passport has blank Visa pages

Most destinations, including Indonesia, require that you have adequate un-used pages in your passport, allowing for any necessary stamps upon arrival and departure. We recommend that you have at least two free pages in Visas section of your passport before any international travel.

Confirm if  a transit visa is required for any connections

Check with your airline in case you have connecting flights overseas as part of your journey to Indonesia. It may be the case that countries you pass through (in transit) to your destination may require a separate transit visa. Please refer to visa requirements of the specific country.

The FIDIC Secretariat shall not be held liable for any or all of the conference participants' necessary travel requirements to enter Indonesia.
